Visa
Most visitors from outside ECOWAS need a visa, which you can apply for on Ghana's official eVisa portal. Expect to pay about US$150 for a single-entry tourist visa or US$200 for multiple entry, allow 5 to 10 working days for processing, and make sure your passport is valid for at least six more months.
Yellow fever
Everyone aged nine months or older, including people just passing through, must carry a yellow fever vaccination certificate.
Getting around
Shared minibuses (tro-tros), taxis, and the Uber, Bolt and Yango ride-hailing apps.
